- Part II- Another group of thrill seekers have gone missing... The detective suspects foul play, but something more sinister is at hand... The Rock, The Marne, and The Soldier's Heart (Mar 21, 2020)- A short story about a young soldier who has just enlisted into the Army to escape his troubled past. It is a story about love, romance, determination, and what lengths a person is willing to go to find their purpose.
Though the characters are fictional, some of the story was influenced by KING's own personal experience while he served in the military. This story is one of the 7 short stories KING plans on releasing in 2020. The short story book will be titled "Short Stories of Modern Times Past." This book follows Rick Myers who is a young soldier trying to find purpose in the Army. He then realizes there is more to his life then it seems...
